Information on Students for a Free Tibet

Update this information

Students for a Free Tibet at KU formed in 1997 and is committed to the non-violent Tibetan human rights movement through education and action to promote human rights in Tibet.

In 1959 the Chinese government invaded the peaceful Buddhist nation of Tibet. As a result, 1.2 million Tibetans have died, thousands have been falsely imprisoned, others have been tortured, and Tibetan women have been given forced abortions and sterilization procedures. Tibetans will not be respected without our help!
