This club is a member of National & Kansas Federation of Music Clubs promoting performance and the arts. The club also promotes scholarship by awarding stipends to music students at the University of Kansas.

The club was established over 100 years ago. The membership represents over this time highly respected muscians and teachers in the area. The monthly programs are samples of a variety of musical talent. Guest are welcome at meetings. Membership is by invitation.
