Community Bible Church believes that everyone's ultimate need is for Jesus Christ. People try to fill that need with lots of other things and activity, but nothing else will satisfy - only a personal relationship with the Creator. When I was 19, I went through a time of depression. During that time, someone suggested I read my Bible. I had one (doesn't everyone in America?) so I decided to try it. That changed my life. It put everything into perspective. I began to realize that God was not distant and unapproachable. He is here and He desires a relationship with every person He created. He proved His love by visiting the planet in flesh and blood and dying for us. Since that time I've read the Bible many more times and I continue to be amazed at the fact that God is real, He has communicated with us, He has made contact with us and He is drawing us to Himself daily.
