Land Use Committee Meeting
Land Use Committee meetings are the Saturdays (generally) before the Planning Commission meetings. The week of the Planning Commission meetings are generally, except in November and December, determined by the week when the fourth Wednesday of every month occurs. The date of the Saturday prior to the Planning Commission meetings is determined by the date of these two monthly public meetings, which are posted here:

Water Study Committee

League study kick-off: "The Use of Water in the Production
of Energy"
Time: Wednesday, May 21, at 7:00 PM
Location: Plymouth Congregational Church (Mayflower Room)
There will be two speakers: Ken Groteweil, Assistant Director for the Kansas Water Office (retired 2007) and former legislator who will speak on "The Intersection of Water and Politics" and Susan Stover, Manager of the Kansas Water Office and a LWV member who serves on the LWV-Kansas Water Study Committee, will speak on "Water and Biofuel".
All League members and interested others are invited to attend.
